If having one front tire take a 90 degree turn while 5th gear pinned
isn't an option for you, run HDUSA Tie Rods! All HDUSA Tie Rods are manufactured
using only the best seamless 304 Stainless Steel or Chromoly Alloy. Our
Stainless Steel, being an extremely hard metal by nature, is NOT heat
treated to help prevent the rod from breaking. When a tie rod reaches
the point of failure, we prefer they bend not break, don't you? Computerized
stress analysis proves that the failure point between heat-treated and
non-heat treated 304 Stainless Steel is insignificant. The heat-treated
material, as used by some of our competitors, has more of a tendency to
break at that point instead of bend. Not good!
